M.P.Kini, Chairman & Managing Director Delta Filters was founded in 1994 by a Nuclear Engineer: Mr. M.P.Kini after working for over 38 years at India's premier Research & Development establishment: Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). He rose through the ranks at BARC and was appointed Maintenance Superintendent (Mechanical) for all three nuclear reactors on site. He received international recognition for his work on Main Coolant Pumps made by KSB-Germany. He has also served in Nuclear Power Corporation on India Ltd. (NPCIL) during commissioning of several 500 MW(e) PHWR reactors. Mr. Kini possesses industry leading expertise in filter design and ASME Sec VIII Div 1 pressure vessel design. He is an active member of Indian Nuclear Society and Indian Institute of Plant Engineers
Ajit Kini, Director (Engineering) Ajit holds a Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering from University of Mumbai and a Masters Degree in Nuclear Engineering from The Ohio State University. He worked as a Project Trainee at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. At BARC Ajit published his report on "Experimental Determination of Mathematical Model of Liquid Zone Control System Test Setup". His Masters research project was sponsored by Electric Power Research Institute, California. The Masters thesis was titled "Development of a dynamic test methodology for analyzing the effect of radiation on the characteristics of Fabry-Perot optical pressure sensors". He worked at a leading communication IC manufacturing company Anadigics in the new Product Development Team. Ajit published two research papers one on High Volume Semiconductor Manufacturing and the other on Nuclear Waste Disposal Methods.
